Wax Molds for Making Wax Blocks

Have you seen the prices of silicone wax molds?  They are about $40 for a single one pound wax mold!  And a 2 pound mold around $60!!!  Yes, silicone is an excellent wax mold because wax does not stick to it.  However, as you can see in these pictures, these plastic molds will work also and we are selling ours at a fraction of the cost!

Simply pour wax into the mold up to the top (just like filling a silicone mold) and allow the wax and mold to cool before trying to remove it.  In testing we noticed that our molds take longer to release than silicone, but since you can buy 4 of our mold for the same price as one silicone mold we thinks our are a better deal.

We highly recommend that you spray just a little mold release or Pam on the letters so they release without tearing out the words.  We do not recommend the baking version of Pam if it contains flour.  We have found that if a mold is not releasing the wax then place it in the refrigerator to cool down even more.  We have tried freezing the mold with the wax and while this certainly helps, the refrigerator temperature was sufficient.

These molds are printed from temperature resistant PETG plastic and come in yellow.  The one pound mold states beeswax and the two pound mold says 2 lb Beeswax.

Of course, bees wax is NOT included and for use in the pictures only.  Please excuse our dirty wax in the pictures!
