Roll Cage

Description

This is a roll cage for housing queen cells, virgin queens or even capturing queens and other bees.  The caps are interchangeable (same on each end) and use a friction fit.  The caps are designed to be a bit tight so they will not come off without pulling and twisting the cap.  The caps have channels to add water and/or honey for feeding those freshly hatched virgins.  The tube has a flat end to hold a JZ BZ queen cap and the other end is just open.  You can use these to hold your queen cells in these cages when they are getting close to emerging…or you suspect they might emerge early.  Then there is no way they can escape and if you add the water and honey to the bottom cap they can feed.  For capturing queens, you can open one end and direct the queen into the cage and cap the end.

The tube is approximately 2 3/4″ long and about 7/8″ in diameter.  With the caps on the tube is slightly over 3″ long.

These roll cages are sold in 10, 20, and 50 packs and printed with PETG.
