Small Hive Model 8 Frame with Feeder Options

This is a small training hive model in an eight frame design that can sit on your desk or can be used to train new beekeepers.  We beekeepers love talking about bees and what better way to do that than to show them.  This model is different from our other 10 frame model because it also includes a lot of feeder options.

This hive model comes with a bottom board, entrance reducer, deep box with 10 black deep frames, queen excluder, medium box, 10 yellow (gold) medium frames, inner cover, lid, and stand.  It even comes with a small fake smoker, a hive tool and a brick!  The feeder options include a black frame feeder, a top feeder, a hole in the lid with a plug, a boardman feeder that fits the front of the hive, a fake bucket to similar top feeding.  And the boardman feeder has a removable “jar” that also fits on the top of the hive to act as a top bottle feeder.  We also created a different hive stand than our other 10 frame model because it is what many beekeepers do.  It comes with 4 concrete bricks and two simulated 4×4.  This way the entire stand can sit on these boards.  Of course, if we had longer “boards” you could fit many hives on the stand at once.  We can create some longer boards on request.

This hive model is about 5 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 6 inches tall, not including the tiny smoker and hive tool.

We have several different colors and using both regular PLA and silk PLA.  This hive model set is made with PLA and/or Silk PLA plastic which is tough, waterproof, and food safe.  In addition, it is biodegradable so it should be kept indoors and away from higher temperatures.  Due to the nature of 3D printing, small variations may be present in finish.  Silk PLA gives it a shine and some of them are multi-color so you can see different colors in the same box.

NOTE:  This is a model only and is obviously not big enough to raise real bees!  We do not sell real size bee hives online.
