Have a 3 pack order for some long langs in pine. Since two were done prior to the Layens order we need to knock out the last one. These hives will have inner covers instead of cover boards and sugar shims. At the time of these pictures I ran out of 1×4 pine and built as much as we could until we ran to the lumber yard.
We also picked up a large load of cedar…the kind that your back tells you how much you were moving later that evening!
A friend asked me to print out a varroa mite for him….took about 19 hours and another 15 minutes to remove all the supports but it came out nice…for an ugly creature that all us beekeepers despise!
