My friend Ron from our local bee club asked if I could make him a honey straw holder. He had a drawing and uses mason jars to hold the straws in case one leaks. I loved the idea and came up with this. After I had it glued up he asked if I could burn his company name into the back. That would have been best to know before it was glued up. So I simply made a new piece for the sign and rounded everywhere that made sense. This was a fun little project that get me out of building bee hives for a bit. You try making 5-6 hives at once and see if you aren’t ready to build something different for a bit! 🙂
He always has a booth at the Honey Bee Jubilee which is in New Ulm, TX, on May 4, 2024 this year and looking forward to seeing how it looks with straws!
