We are going to try to create videos of the builds…sometimes people can visualize things better with a video than pictures.
This is a 30 frame long langstroth hive made from a Texas Cottonwood tree. The customer is planning to seal the wood so they we tried to preserve the grain and display the best pieces. Also used cottonwood on the exterior trim. The legs are pine because cottonwood can absorb moisture and did not want to take the chance.
This hive also has removeable sugar shims and two dividers.
