Yeah it is hot in Texas and August is generally the worst. This was a Saturday so I was able to work all morning but even with all the doors were open and the fans running it is tough to work in the shop after 3. Most evenings I get in the shop around 5 and it is around 111 with the doors closed. I open everything up and it hangs around 104 until about 7. Can we get a tropical depression?
Almost done with a pine hive. They asked for a galvanized metal roof so more pictures will be posted once it is installed. Made a couple jigs to cut those roof rafters easier but still need to pick up a drill press to make those holes easier! The two cottonwood hives are going to be neighbors and have been put on hold for a more pressing order coming soon. I will paint the cottonwood hives before adding the metal roof and adding hardware.
