100 Frames
Years ago I made 100 medium frames and HATED IT! And given the price of frames back then it was not worth the effort. Well now that prices on frames have gone up and I have a few better tools to make the job easier it is time to re-try it. So I took a Saturday and timed myself to see how long it took to make 100 frames and assemble them. I took the time to pick out some nice 2x4s without many knot holes. They were #2 pine but would try #1s next time. Turns out it only took me about 6 hours and that was with setting up tools and re-checking my measurements. I can say they very closely resemble some Miller Bee Supply frames I bought earlier this year and I am pretty happy with them. Is it enough to start selling...no...my hands were sore for three days! But at least I can I can do it if needed in the future.
