small training hive model in an eight frame design that can sit on your desk or can be used to train new beekeepers.  We beekeepers love talking about bees and what better way to do that than to show them.  This model is different from our other 10 frame model because it also includes a lot of feeder options.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis hive model comes with a bottom board, entrance reducer, deep box with 10 black deep frames, queen excluder, medium box, 10 yellow (gold) medium frames, inner cover, lid, and stand.  It even comes with a small fake smoker, a hive tool and a brick!  The feeder options include a black frame feeder, a top feeder, a hole in the lid with a plug, a boardman feeder that fits the front of the hive, a fake bucket to similar top feeding.  And the boardman feeder has a removable \"jar\" that also fits on the top of the hive to act as a top bottle feeder.  We also created a different hive stand than our other 10 frame model because it is what many beekeepers do.  It comes with 4 concrete bricks and two simulated 4x4.  This way the entire stand can sit on these boards.  Of course, if we had longer \"boards\" you could fit many hives on the stand at once.  We can create some longer boards on request.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis hive model is about 5 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 6 inches tall, not including the tiny smoker and hive tool.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe have several different colors and using both regular PLA and silk PLA.  This hive model set is made with PLA and\/or Silk PLA plastic which is tough, waterproof, and food safe.  In addition, it is biodegradable so it should be kept indoors and away from higher temperatures.  Due to the nature of 3D printing, small variations may be present in finish.  Silk PLA strain.  Many beekeepers cannot afford a nice large wax cappings table so they cut their wax cappings over a bucket.  They might use a 5 gallon paint strainer which will catch the wax and the honey will drain down to the bottom.  The problem with this is that the honey fills up quickly.  So if your top bucket has holes in it, the honey can drain into the bottom bucket.  This \"\u003cstrong\u003eCrush and Strain Lid\u003c\/strong\u003e\" holds up the top bucket so the honey drains into the bottom bucket.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSet up - Take a normal bucket and place on Holder\".  It has grooves to keep the bucket from sliding off as well.  Then on the top bucket and a paint strainer to the bucket.  Then add a frame buddy (frame holder) and pulling wax cappings!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis bucket holder has been testing with 46 lbs of honey and worked just fine!  You should never have that much honey in your top bucket, but it is nice to know the tool can handle the weight.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAt present there is no color choice.  We have them in white and yellow and a few in red.  You can request a particular color by sending a inches in the bottom.  This floater is over 1\/2\" thick and has air sealed inside the plastic so it always stays afloat.  The floater is really double-sided so either side can face up.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese are printed with PETG plastic which is UV resistant and will stand up to multiple seasons of feeding or watering your bees!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMade in the the number of buckets and time of year.  It is very easy for a honey bee to drown when the water gets cold or cool so keep that in mind in cooler months.  Then if you are feeding during a dearth, the bees get more aggressive about feeding.  So the more hives you have the more they will push each other down into the bucket!  You can easily cause a lot of bee deaths feeding a large number of colonies with too few buckets of sugar water.  We recommend no more than about 5 hives per bucket when open feeding.  Of course this depends on the size of the colonies.","brand":"RP Attendant Rapid Loader - EARL","description":"\u003cp\u003eThe EARL is made specifically to help you load a lot of attendants into JZBZ cages rapidly.  With this tool, you can make short work of loading a lot of cages with worker rather than hunting down a single worker each time you want to load cages.  You can get into the hive and grab a 1\/2 to 1 cups of bees and then close the hive back up.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe loader is designed so that the bees can crawl up into the cage by themselves.  If they are not cooperative, they can be forced to go into the cage with the plunger.  The loader is designed to load bees one at a time but after loading 4 to 5 bees, you can keep going over and over.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDirections: 1- Turn the top of the loader counter clockwise until it stops so the plunger is engaged.  This will trap any bees in the bottom.  \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e2 - Unscrew the bottom and scoop up a half cup of young worker bees and place them into the bottom and replace the cap.  3 -  Uncap a JZBZ cage and slide into the top.  This is a friction fit but it is designed to work with them perfectly.  It should be snug enough that you can turn over the loader and the cage will stay in place.  4 - With the plunger lowered, turn the top clockwise until it stops.  This opens the bottom of the loader so bees can crawl into the cage.  If bees are not going into the cage by themselves, then you an flip the load upside-down and shake bees into the top chamber.  Once you have a bee in there, slowly turn the lid counter-clockwise to verify that you only have one bee and it is fully inside.  Once verified, complete the counter-clockwise turn to the plunger side.  5 - If needed, lift the plunger to put the bee into the cage.  6 - Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have the desired number of attendants in the cage.  Replace with another JZBZ cage and restart from step in the bottom something to go toward.  We also found that no matter what we did, we could get the plastic perfectly clear.  Since the top and bottoms are more important to see through, they made more
