the number of buckets and time of year.  It is very easy for a honey bee to drown when the water gets cold or cool so keep that in mind in cooler months.  Then if you are feeding during a dearth, the bees get more aggressive about feeding.  So the more hives you have the more they will push each other down into the bucket!  You can easily cause a lot of bee deaths feeding a large number of colonies with too few buckets of sugar water.  We recommend no more than about 5 hives per bucket when open feeding.  Of course this depends on the size of the colonies.","brand":"RP
